How Does the Web Based Design of Hydraulic Systems Work

Small and middle size enterprises (SMEs) are the mainstream of the fluid power industry in China. They are involved unwillingly in the information world but lack of plenty of weapons to fight in the nowadays market. The web based product design system of hydraulic systems is discussed in the article, which is supposed to provide SMEs of fluid power to sharp their innovation ability to survive today. Based on the information technology, the design system of hydraulic systems is developed as a web system linking to the Internet, in which the Browser/Server (B/S) structure is adopted. By means of the system users can quickly and easily make schematic drawings of hydraulic systems and get component information such as performance parameters, product pictures and manufacturers over the Internet from wherever they are. Besides sharing plenty of information on the web, the users can get helps from the experts remote in the procedure of design.
